Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive is a ready mixed tile cement specially formulated for use in high temperature conditions where ordinary tile cements are inadequate for the long term retention of tiles.
Main uses:
· fixing tiles in areas subject to high temperatures
· fire surrounds
· behind boilers
· behind ranges, cookers and radiators
· fixing fibre rope seals to heater doors
Application: Make sure the area is clean and that all dirt, dust, rust and grease is removed. Cut off the top of the cartridge, screw on the nozzle and cut the nozzle to the required size. Dampen the surface where the material is to be applied. Apply using a cartridge gun. Aim for a final thickness of 3mm. When applying on fresh cement or plaster surfaces or with porous tiles, it is important to seal the surface using PVA before applying the adhesive, otherwise bonding may be impaired. Surplus Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive must be removed immediately from any tile surfaces with damp cloth.
Not to be used as a grout.
