Ceramics and Glass are the two big sectors which Vitcas caters to. The products enlisted in this category can be utilised in both industries- in ceramic kilns or in glass blowing processes. 

Ceramics

Vitcas products are used in the ceramics industry for lining ceramic kilns. These materials include grade 26 insulation bricks (in conjunction with Vitset45 refractory mortar) and ceramic fibre materials (such as ceramic fibre board and ceramic fibre blanket) for decreasing the cooling time after the kiln is fired. For coating the ceramic fibre material, you would use the zircon paint coating.

Glass

During the glass blowing process, a Glory Hole or reheat furnace is used. For heating the Glory Hole furnace, you can use our Ceramic Fibre Blanket and Refractory Castable 1600.
