Setting Instructions

  1. The bricks should be set with Acidcas Acid-proof Mortar, which is specially formulated for acid resistant applications.
  2. Acidcas Acid-proof Mortar is a two-part system that includes a powder and a liquid.
  3. The powder and liquid must be mixed in the correct ratio before use.
  4. The mixture should be applied to the surface of the bricks using a trowel or a brush.
  5. The bricks should be laid in the desired pattern and pressed firmly into place.
  6. The joints between the bricks should be filled with the same Acidcas Acid-proof Mortar mixture.
  7. The bricks should be allowed to cure for at least 24 hours before use.

Manufacturing Tolerance and Variations
Please note that due to the inherent manufacturing process, there may be slight variations of +/-3mm in the size of the bricks. Similarly, subtle colour variations may occur between bricks, which does not affect the product's performance. It is also normal to find small chips on the bricks; this is not a product fault but rather a characteristic of the fire brick. These can be easily covered by Mortar or Cement, if required.
