Rope lagging is made from a core of parallel glass fibre strands enclosed in a braided cover of glass yarn.
Lagging ropes are very soft and pliable with excellent thermal insulation properties and resistance to oils, solvents and most chemicals. Resistant to 550oC.
Lagging ropes are used for packing expansion joints, sealing and gap filling between fire backs and fire surrounds, as well as for wrapping around flues and hot pipes as an insulation layer.
Glass Fibre Lagging Rope can be purchased by the metre, so you can have any length you require.
The lagging rope has the following dimensions: The ropes with diameters of 20mm, 25mm and 30mm have a length of 30m per roll. The ropes with diameters of 40mm and 50mm have a length of 15m per roll.
