Insulation materials
Heat proof materials are required to insulate exhaust pipes in a car in order to improve its performance, prolong its service life and provide thermal protection. For insulating exhaust pipes, we recommend using Heat Treatment Exhaust Tape, Titanium Basalt Fibre Tape or Aluminium Foiled Glass Fibre Cloth.
High temperature materials
Vitcas High Temperature Spray Paints are suitable for use on brake calipers because the paints will not chip off due to their high temperature resistance and they come in a variety of colours including red which is a classic favourite for calipers.
Where there is a need to joint some pipes in a vehicle, you can use Heat Resistant Silicone as a gasket.
