VITCAS Refractory Fire Bricks are expertly crafted for use in a variety of high-temperature domestic applications. Ideal for wood burning stoves, solid fuel cookers, ranges, fireplaces, barbecues and wood-fired pizza ovens, they are designed to efficiently manage intense heat. Whether you're baking a pizza or cosying up by the fireplace, these bricks ensure durability and optimal heat distribution.
Heat Resistance: Rated for temperatures up to 1300°C/ 2400°F, making them suitable for extremely high-temperature environments.
Size and Weight: Each brick measures 230 x 114 x 32mm (9" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/4") and weighs approximately 1.75 kilograms, offering a substantial build for various applications.
Alumina Content: Contains a minimum of 40% alumina, enhancing their mechanical strength and chemical resistance.
Durability: Constructed to withstand frequent and intense heat exposure, ensuring longevity and consistent performance.
Versatility: Compatible with Vitcas Heatproof Mortar for indoor applications and Vitcas Outdoor Oven Cement or Vitcas Heatproof Screed for outdoor applications.
Applications
Domestic and Commercial Settings: Ideal for fireplaces, pizza ovens, circulators, wood burning stoves, barbecue grills, furnaces and inserts.
Indoor Use: When used indoors, pair with Vitcas Heatproof Mortar (3 - 5mm joint) for optimal performance and durability.
Outdoor Use: For outdoor constructions, utilise Vitcas Outdoor Oven Cement (5 – 10mm joint) or Vitcas Heatproof Screed (for gap-filling), ensuring weather resistance and longevity.
Energy Efficiency: Helps in maintaining consistent temperatures, contributing to efficient fuel usage in heating applications.
Safety: Designed to safely contain and manage high-temperature environments, reducing fire hazards.
Please note that due to the inherent manufacturing process, there may be slight variations of +/-3mm in the size of the bricks. Similarly, subtle colour variations may occur between bricks, which does not affect the product's performance. It is also normal to find small chips on the bricks; this is not a product fault but rather a characteristic of the fire clay brick. These can be easily covered by Mortar or Cement, if required.
