Vermiculite Fire Board Fire-proof Insulation

VITCAS Vermiculite Fireproof Board is a versatile thermal insulation material, specially designed for use in indoor or covered applications including fireplaces, stoves, heaters, range cookers, boilers, night storage heaters, vessels and tanks, hobby kilns etc. Made from naturally occuring vermiculite, non-toxic aluminium-magnesium silicate, this board is capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1100°C / 2010°F. Its lightweight yet durable structure makes it suitable for a variety of domestic and industrial uses. The vermiculite board can be worked easily with wood working tools.

Installation & Finishing:

Vermiculite Fireproof Board is designed for easy installation and can be securely fixed in place using various methods:

• Fixing to Walls: The board can be drilled, screwed, or fixed directly to walls using Insulation Fixings, and secured with VITCAS Heat Resistant Board Adhesive or HB60 for a strong, secure bond.
• Sealing: For sealing edges or the area around a flue pipe, use VITCAS Heat Resistant Silicone to ensure a heat-resistant and durable seal.
• Decorative Finishing: To achieve a polished look, the board can be finished with VITCAS Heat Resistant Paint Spray, or alternatively, sealed with PVA and tiled using VITCAS Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive.
