VITCAS Ceramic Fibre Insulating Fibre Board is resistant to 1430oC / 2600oF. Dimensions: 1200x1000x25mm and 1200x1000x50mm. Due to its high heat resistance and lower thermal mass, heating/ cooling takes quicker and makes it ideal for glass slumping and ceramic kilns.

Ceramic Fibre Board are manufactured by vacuum forming which results in a more resilient product compared with ceramic fibre blanket. Often used in ceramic kilns, for glass slumping, in forges and afterburners.
The advantage is that the material will withstand a high temperature (1430°C) but with a low thermal mass so that heating and cooling process times can be much quicker than with dense bricks for example.
