Ceramic Fibre Board 1260°C-VITCAS Insulating Board
Vitcas Ceramic Fibre Insulating Board. Resistant to 1260oC/ 2300oF. Dimensions: 1200x1000x25mm and 1200x1000x50mm. Has a low heat conductivity at high temperatures and resists high gas velocity, which makes it ideal for boiler ducts, for kiln linings in glass and ceramics and for stack lining.
More infoVitcas Ceramic Fibre Insulating Board is resistant to 1260oC. Density 300kg/m3. Ceramic Fibre Board is a vacuum formed product that resists higher gas velocities (inside the furnace) than ceramic fibre blanket. It is generally used as a kiln lining in ceramics and glass, around a forge or for boiler duct and stack lining.
These boards are lightweight so they don’t hold the heat and they have a very low thermal conductivity at high temperatures.
These boards are not appropriate for insulation in the home or in fireplace applications – please see construction boards and vermiculite fireboards for insulation boards in the domestic environment. For professional users only.
