Installation & Insulation Recommendations:
To ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency, we strongly recommend the following:
Base Insulation: Install the oven on a stable and fully supported base. Insulate underneath using Vitcas Ceramic Fibre Insulation Board 50mm for improved heat retention and safety.
Installation Note: When fitting the insulation board under the pizza oven, it is normal for there to be a small gap. If the board is cut or positioned in two sections, one section can be placed towards the back of the pizza oven and the other towards the front, leaving a slight gap in the middle. This gap can be filled with Vitcas Outdoor Oven Cement during installation.
Dome Insulation (after initial curing fires):
Wrap the oven with Vitcas Ceramic Fibre Insulation Blanket (7 metres recommended)
Use Ceramic Fibre Adhesive to bond the blanket to the dome
Cover with pizzaoven mesh/wire netting
Render the entire dome with Vitcas Outdoor Oven Cement to weatherproof the surface
Optionally, finish by painting the exterior for a personalised look
