Handcrafted in the UK from premium refractory materials, the Pompeii pizza oven delivers traditional flavour with modern efficiency. Perfect for baking artisan bread, roasting meat, and cooking 3-4 pizzas at once, it's ideal for family gatherings, garden parties, or gourmet home chefs.

Installation & Insulation Tips:

For maximum performance and efficiency, we strongly recommend the following insulation setup:

  1. Base insulation: Place the oven on a fully supported and insulated base using Vitcas 50mm Ceramic Fibre Insulation Board.

  2. Dome insulation (after initial firing):

    • Wrap with Vitcas Ceramic Fibre Insulation Blanket (7 metres recommended)

    • Fix with Ceramic Fibre Adhesive

    • Apply pizza oven wire mesh over the insulation blanket

    • Render with Vitcas Outdoor Oven Cement for weatherproofing

    • Finish by painting the exterior if desired

  • Vitcas Ceramic Fibre Blanket - 7 metres

  • 2 x Ceramic Fibre Adhesive

  • 1 x Pizza Oven Metal Mesh Netting

  • 2 x 20kg Vitcas Outdoor Oven Cement

  • Vitcas 50mm Ceramic Fibre Insulating Board (for base insulation)

does this require a cast slab to be formed prior to install?
Yes, the base of the Pompeii Wood Fired Bread and Pizza Oven must be fully supported with the cast slab.
