VITCAS-HB10

Rapid setting hydraulic bonded, heat resistant adhesive for use in fireplaces, stoves, tiled stoves and heat storage construction in both indoor and outdoor applications. Perfect for joining prefabricated elements or single tiles.  Suitable for joining external constructions with or without air gaps. Minimal setting time makes it easier to use.  Heat resistant adhesive Vitcas HB10 has high heat accumulation properties – especially recommended for joining fireplace elements which hold and then return the heat.  Ideal for loading onto the tiles thickly and when dry it has high strength. Heat-resistant to 750 oC


Application:

After opening the bucket, mix the contents. Material should be mixed with cold tap water / approximately 200ml per kilo. Mix in a clean, dry bucket using clean tools. Take into consideration the fast setting time (after 10minutes) and use only a sufficient quantity. Surface should be clean, free of dust and residues of other materials. The materials to be joined should be dry. Do not use old and hard mortar or mix with new! Setting time depends on the amount of water added and the temperature.


The shelf life depends on the time that the bucket is open; when the work is complete close the bucket tightly. Keep any unused material dry and store in a cool, dry place away from children, pets and frost.
