Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive (310ml) is a high-performance, ready-to-use adhesive specifically designed for areas exposed to high temperatures where traditional tile cements are ineffective. This specialised formulation guarantees long-lasting adhesion, making it perfect for securing tiles in heat-sensitive environments such as fire surrounds, behind boilers, ranges, cookers, and radiators. • Uneven Surfaces: For uneven surfaces requiring a thicker adhesive layer, first level the surface with VITCAS HB60 Heat Resistant Adhesive, then apply the Heat Resistant Tile Adhesive for optimal results.

Installation

1. Preparation: After squeezing the adhesive from the cartridge, thoroughly mix the contents to ensure a smooth paste.
2. Priming: Always apply Vitcas PVA Adhesive Sealer before applying the adhesive, especially on fresh cement or plaster surfaces. For porous materials like marble or slate, it is particularly important to seal the back surface to enhance adhesion and ensure a strong bond.
3. Application: Use a 6mm tile comb to apply the adhesive to the wall, then press the tiles firmly into place, ensuring a maximum 3mm adhesive bed.
4. Cleanup: Immediately wipe off any excess adhesive with a damp cloth to avoid hardening and staining.
5. Curing: The adhesive typically dries overnight, though exposure to heat may accelerate the curing process.

Important Notes

• Curing Before Grouting: Ensure full curing of the adhesive before grouting. For grouting, use Vitcas Heat Resistant Tile Grout for optimal results.
• Indoor Use: This adhesive is specifically formulated for indoor applications. For outdoor use, we highly recommend Vitcas HB60 for long-lasting, weather-resistant adhesion.
• Reinforcement for Heavy Materials: When working with heavier tiles and natural materials like stone, marble, or granite, it's essential to provide additional physical reinforcement during both the application and curing phases.
