Intumescent Acoustic Sealant Mastic - Fire Protection and Soundproofing

VITCAS Intumescent Acoustic Sealant Mastic is a halogen-free acrylic sealant that swells when subjected to temperatures in excess of 125°C and provides a 4-hour fire barrier along with excellent sound damping properties. It is ideal for sealing uneven gaps around pipework, door frames, and window sills, as well as for sealing fire protection boards and partitions where a fire rating is required. It is not suitable for permanent water immersion.

Sealing Joints with Vitcas Acoustic Fire Mastic

Vitcas Acoustic Fire Mastic is a one-part intumescent acrylic mastic, designed for sealing gaps around fire doors, window frames, and joints in fire-rated structures. It can be used to seal voids, irregular holes, and other gaps, providing both fire resistance and sound insulation.

Fire and smoke can quickly spread through small cracks or gaps, leading to extensive damage. By using an intumescent sealant, the spread of fire and smoke can be slowed down, providing passive fire protection and enhancing the safety of the structure.
